In 2020 when the world faced the pandemic, we unfortunately missed A-list glamour and all the fashion that comes with these celebrity moments. What did celebrities do during all of those months of quarantine? Well, apparently, they were planning out their looks for their impeding return to the spotlight. So, when events such as Met Gala, Venice Film Festival or Cannes Film Festival, the celebrities dazzled and surprised everyone with their looks.

While we have certainly learnt that we are not quite over the pandemic, the world did start to get back to some kind of “normality” earlier this year – and with it came the return of the red carpet.

Below, we sum up some of the most glamorous and fashionable red-carpet moments of the past 12 months. From Zendaya wearing a stunning nude design to those stars who chose fancy and fantastic customs.

Megan Fox in Mugler

Actress Megan Fox attended the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards wearing a Mugler gown with crystals over an embellished thong and nude corset bra on the red carpet. Underneath the dress, which was covered with jewels, Fox covered up with sparkly underwear.

Megan took a minimalistic approach with her accessories, wearing just two rings on each hand. She complemented the look with nude-coloured shoes.

Kendall Jenner in Givenchy

Supermodel Kendall Jenner attended the 2021 Met Gala event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. For such extraordinary event, she wore a curve-skimming dress by Givenchy.

The look was inspired by famed Givenchy muse Audrey Hepburn’s dress, which she wore in “My Fair Lady”. The dress also included the same jewel-embellished sleeves and a choker. It also was incrusted with rhinestones, which crept onto the shoulders, and a crystal fringe tracing the bodice.

She complemented the outfit with nude-coloured underwear underneath the dress and opera gloves attached to the dress and decorated with crystal fringe.

Zendaya in Balmain

Reigning fashion icon Zendaya attended the Dune premiere wearing a custom Balmain gown, matching her skin tone. The sleeveless gown had a round neckline, ruched detail around the waist, and a high slit that began at the star’s upper thigh, matching with nude stiletto pumps.

Her hair was styled in a curly wet-look with a middle part. She accessorized the look with a diamond and emerald necklace and a “Magnifica” ring by Bulgari.

Bella Hadid in Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2021/22

Supermodel Bella Hadid took part in the Tre Piani (Three Floors) premiere at the 74^th annual Cannes Film Festival. For the event, she wore an avant-garde gown from the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2021/22 collection, designed by Daniel Roseberry.

The form-fitting black wool dress had a neckline that cut under Hadid’s chest, which was covered by a gold-dipped necklace in the shape of the bronchi passageway of the lungs, adorned with rhinestones.

Her hair was styled in a high bun. She added accessories to the look with large ruby drop earrings and a ruby ring.
