This year’s red carpet stars opted for a mix of unusual silhouettes, metallics, pearls, leather and lots of latex. 

A week after the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, the BRIT Awards 2023 took place in London, where your favourite stars heated the red carpet. 

There were multiple memorable moments. Harry Styles swept the Brit Awards, winning all four awards he was nominated for and paid tribute to the female stars by picking up the trophy for best artist. In addition, stellar performances by David Guetta, Becky Hill, Ella Henderson and Sam Ryder closed the show accordingly. Beyoncé took home the awards for Best International Artist and International Song of the Year for “Break My Soul”. And when it came to fashion, the celebrities’ multiple outfits hit the mark. Lizzo, who also performed, walked the red carpet in a spectacular Robert Wun couture with a fabulous full-length gold ruffle, while Salma Hayek stole the show in a skin-tight leather Alexander McQueen gown. Harry Styles, meanwhile, wore tailoring with a huge corsage designed by his former collaborator Harris Reed, creative director at Nina Ricci.

While celebrities showed off their best looks on the red carpet before the ceremony, all-black outfits seemed to be a common theme among the best-dressed looks. In addition, head-to-toe monochromatic outfits in warm and bright tones were in full force.

LIZZO

The American singer showed off her incredible curves in an elaborately embellished gold gown, as she posed up a storm before her highly anticipated performance at the awards show. For the occasion, she opted for a one-shoulder metallic gown with pleats by Robert Wun. The dress featured a matching aura of ruffles. She completed the look with chunky gold earrings and strappy black heels.

MAYA JAMA

The “Love Island” host donned a stunning black Schiaparelli gown for the occasion, complete with gold beaded skeleton embellishments. The skeleton-inspired look was created by the French couture house’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry. She also sported gold sun-shaped earrings and completed her look with strappy heels.

ELLIE GOULDING

Ellie Goulding opted for a halter-neck top made with a three-dimensional dungaree by designer Cameron Hancock, for the red carpet of the Brit Awards 2023 combined with matching black high-waisted pants.

HARRY STYLES

The “As It Was” singer stunned on the red carpet, wearing a gender-bending style look. For the occasion, Harry Styles wore a black tuxedo, black pants, a peplum jacket and a massive black flower neckpiece tied around his neck. The two-piece was custom-made by Nina Ricci. He completed his look with rings and a cross pendant.

KRISTEN MCMENAMY

Supermodel Kristen McMenamy dazzled at the Brit Awards 2023 red carpet, wearing a pale pink midi dress by Alexander McQueen. The fabric faded from black into pale pink before fading back to black at the hem. She also wore bracelets, a chain necklace, and inky eyeliner.

SALMA HAYEK

Hollywood star actress Salma Hayek attended the Brit Awards 2023 red carpet wearing a witchy, edgy, black corset by Alexander McQueen. The look also featured sheer panels and an asymmetrical leather skirt, which featured buttons, zippers, and buckles. He completed the look with Boucheron jewellery and black platform shoes.

KIM PETRAS

The “Unholy” singer wore a black minidress with matching tights designed by Maison Valentino dress. She also wore black platform heels in black patent leather, a lack headpiece and gloves.
