Haute Couture Fashion Week is being held in Paris, with major fashion houses that presented their impressive spring-summer 2023 collections. Although their designs were all the rage one after the other, we must say that trendy beauty looks stood out.

Fashion weeks always dictate the trends we will see during the next season, both on the runways, the streets and in celebrities’ styles, wearing the latest in makeup and hairstyles.

The elegant flappers of the 1920s had an obvious influence on Dior’s hair and makeup, getting a grunge makeover by Peter Philips. “I illuminated the eyes with a combination of black shadows transparently mixed with silver,” says the makeup artist. Meanwhile, fashion label Schiaparelli emphasised minimalism this season in terms of makeup, showing us that naturalness will continue to predominate in the beauty world, adding a touch of colour and dimension with light and subtle products.
