This Sunday, the British Academy Film Awards (Bafta) was presented by the British Academy of Arts in London. The gala was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London and hosted by actor Richard E. Grant and television presenter Alison Hammond.

The star of the awards night was Cate Blanchett, who won the BAFTA for Best Actress for her role in Tár.

The A-listers brought some of their best looks to the red carpet. While Princess Kate caught the attention of many in an elegant Alexander McQueen look, stars like Austin Butler and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley also wore standout ensembles. The big star of the night, Butler, for his film Elvis, arrived on the red carpet of the British Film Awards in a tuxedo with satin lapels and booties that stole the show. Anya Taylor-Joy dazzled in her voluminous Schiaparelli cape, Ana de Armas wore a deconstructed satin dress, while Florence Pugh opted for bright orange to not go unnoticed on the red carpet.

And as expected, the trends of the moment and the most anticipated made their biggest appearance. Transparencies, defiant necklines, maximalist designs, tulle, feathers, opera gloves, and lots and lots of glitter and pearls. An ideal mix for the most avant-garde and glamorous looks as well as for the soberest and classic ones.

Without further ado, check out all the glitz, glamour and charm of the BAFTA 2023 red carpet.

“The Queen’s Gambit” actress Anya Taylor-Joy stole the show in a Schiaparelli look that can only be described as ‘blanket core’: it featured a shimmering beige-brown sculpted mini dress with a matching cape and strappy heels. She completed the look with a gold necklace.
