Fendi & Versace “FENDACE” Collection Will Drop On 12 May
The Fendi x Versace collaboration, dubbed the “FENDACE” collection, is all set to drop on 12 May 2022.

Luxury fashion brands Fendi and Versace launched new campaigns following last year’s runway shows. Shot by Steven Meisel, the campaign fused the aesthetics of two Italian fashion houses, with the collection’s top models entering the ‘Fendi’ and ‘Versace’ outfits Fendace Nightclub.
Donatella Versace styled Fendi by Versace. Kristen McMenamy, Naomi Campbell, Anja Rubik, Imaan Hammam, Adut Akech, Lina Zhang, Anok Yai and other supermodels are in the Fendance Pre-Fall 2022 campaign.

Donatella Versace added: “The campaign captures the same sense of friendship and energy we had when we were designing the collection. Kim is a visionary designer and innovator. To me, ‘Fendace’ will always mean love.”

“It’s a swap rather than a collaboration and, most of all, it is done out of friendship. It is the beauty of togetherness after time apart and a celebration of women who have inspired me so much,” Kim Jones said.

The collection itself includes swimwear, statement bags, body-hugging dresses, gold jewellery and patterned scarves, which stylist Jacob K highlights in the image. Plus, Pat McGrath’s bright makeup completes the look. The event also showcased the work of make-up and hairstylist Guido Palau, who drew attention with his colorful hairstyles. Highlights include Versace-themed Peekaboo and Baguette and an updated La Medusa bag with the Fendi FF logo.

The Fendi x Versace collaboration will be unveiled on May 12, 2022 through a series of global events and pop-up stores. “Fendace” pop-up stores will be held in cities including Paris, Tokyo, New York, London, Los Angeles and Kuwait, and the full collection will only be available at those stores. In addition to this, instead of dropping the entire collection in one go in mid-May, the luxury houses scheduled a comprehensive rollout of the coveted collection, fanning the flame of hype throughout summer.
The swap between the two brand will be presented at both Fendi and Versace online and retail boutiques in separate collections. Select “Versace by Fendi” items will be sold by Fendi and vice versa. A collection of the fendace co-branded looks will be available for sale from both fashion houses.
